What is a Short-Term-Scientific Mission?

The Short-Term-Scientific-Missions (STSMs) are exchange visits of one researcher from a participating country in MINEA to other participating country in MINEA. They are aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing new techniques and infrastructure that may be unavailable in other participants' institutions or laboratories. The STSMs are intended especially for Early Career Investigators (ECIs), but are also open to PhD students and senior researchers. Master students are not eligible. The STSMs Grantees receive a financial support that partially covers traveling, accommodation and living expenses. Here you can find some examples of successful STSMs in COST Actions (link).
